1-800Accountant added three full-time full-stack developers to its product team. They supported the digital accounting platform's tools for tax planning, bookkeeping, invoicing, document management, reporting, and communication between small-business clients and accounting professionals.
The platform ties together several accounting workflows, so product work often has to account for both the customer-facing tools and the operational data behind them. The team moved between those connected areas as priorities required.
Their work covered React, JavaScript, backend services, APIs, and financial-data integrations. The three developers worked alongside the internal product organization on a full-time basis.
